On Saturday, a children’s drag story hour was held just outside of San Francisco featuring drag performer Panda Dulce as the guest reader.

An advertisement for the event stated that the story time was designed for preschool-aged children, but added that "all are welcome."

"Come celebrate Pride Month with a fun storytime led by Drag Queen Panda Dulce! We will hear stories, sing songs, and have fun," the advertisement stated.

A video has recently resurfaced of Panda Dulce lip=syncing to a 2006 Saturday Night Live digital short of "Natalie’s Rap," a song by the comedy music group "The Lonely Island."

The original video features actor Chris Parnell playing the role of an interviewer, who speaks with actress Natalie Portman. In the interview, Portman goes on an expletive-riddled tirade. This is the portion that Panda Dulce had green-screened their body into, lip-syncing to Portman’s parts.

In one portion, Parnell asks, "What about the kids that look up to you, do you have a message for them?"

The Panda Dulce video continues on with the drag star lip-syncing to the Cardi B song "Up," which is full of expletives and sexually explicit content as well.

Saturday’s drag story hour was interrupted by protestors who entered the event, and started calling Panda Dulce a "groomer."

In an interview with ABC 7, Panda Dulce said, "Eight to ten Proud Boys marched in with their cameras blazing, point at me, jeering from the back."

"They said 'who brought the tranny. It's a groomer. It's a pedophile. Why do you bring your kids to this event,'" Dulce said.

Dulce was escorted away by security, and police were called.

According to ABC 7, the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case, and has activated its hate crime protocols.

Lt. Ray Kelly, a spokesman for the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office, said "The men were described as extremely aggressive with a threatening violent demeanor causing people to fear for their safety," according to the Washington Post.

Kelly said that the Proud Boys members were likely not from the San Lorenzo Community, stating "We don’t have right-wing extremists groups that come out into the open in the Bay Area all that much. We believe there’s a group connected in San Mateo County, so we believe these people crossed the bay for this event."
